We’ve never met a dedicated gaming peripheral coming from Kingston, but they decided to surprise us. They decided to climb-up the gaming gear mountain, and they reached the top of it in rather short period of time. Of course, we are talking here about gaming headset, the Kingston HyperX Cloud.
The HyperX Cloud enjoyed the popularity, but Kingston, however, made an improvement of it, and now we have the Kingston HyperX Cloud II, which is among the best and most used gaming headsets by CS:GO pro-players.

The HyperX Cloud II provide impeccable and crisp sound, which is especially important for heavily sound-sensitive games like CS:GO is.
The comfort that the Cloud II is offering is great. The light weight just adds to the fact that you can use the headphones whole day without tension on your head.
MOST IMPORTANT IMPROVEMENTS
While the HyperX Cloud II is visually the same as the HyperX Cloud, it comes with feature improvements.
First improvement is a 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound, which is a big plus to have, and its useful in gaming.
Second one, is a microphone improvement. While the both headsets have a detachable microphone, the HyperX Cloud II comes with the echo and noise cancellation, along with the additional volume control, which is useful especially for gaming purposes.
It’s surprising how Kingston penetrated through the “traffic” of gaming headsets, and reached the final destination faster than anyone else. With the HyperX Cloud II, they outplayed even the Logitech, Razer, Steelseries, which are delivering gaming gear with decades.
The sound is crisp as it gets, and the 7.1 Virtual Surround is providing good audio experience. Maybe the HyperX Cloud II is not as comfortable as the Sennheiser GAME ZERO, but the comfort is great and you can use them without headache. Also you get the extra velour ear-pads in the package, if you prefer them more.
The HyperX Cloud II is near perfect headset for gaming, and yet it comes with very affordable price (while on discount), and that is one of the reasons why Kingston reached the top with their perfect product.
If you are looking for great gaming headsets, and yet you don’t want to spend a fortune on it, like for example the Sennheiser GAME ZERO or Sennheiser PC 363D – which are perfect but too expensive, then the HyperX Cloud II is a great alternative.
